SPEAKING TEAM
We don’t take it lightly that you’re considering one of our team members for your event!
Our team consists of gifted speakers who work alongside us in various ministry spaces. Some have helped write our Bible study series, others have hosted (or made guest appearances on) our TBR Deep Dive and TBR Kids podcasts, some are part of our teaching team on Israelux trips, and one is a pastor who has served on our Prayer & Advisory Board for over a decade!
These are trusted speakers whose giftings and theology have already been a blessing to the global Church as they’ve poured into the various ministries of Shrinking Inc (The Bible Recap, D-Group International, and Israelux).
Check out our team’s bios and their preferred speaking topics below, and fill out this form to request a speaker for your event!

Emma came to know Jesus over a bedtime conversation with her dad at age seven. Her growing faith has fueled her passion to help others know and love God’s Word. After earning her degree in English from Texas A&M University and completing ministry training through The Watermark Institute, Emma served with The Porch, a young adult ministry in Dallas, before stepping into her current role at her local church and joining The Bible Recap team. She’s pursuing her ThM (Master of Theology) in Dallas, and she loves hiking, kayaking, and cotton candy ice cream.

Old Testament Overview - this is popular with both teens and adults. It’s an atypical talk because it doesn’t have stories and illustrations
Apologetics - how did we get the Bible? How can we trust the Bible?
Abiding in Christ - (John 15) talks about spiritual supplements, eats flintstone vitamins

LB’s heart for Scripture and discipleship has continued to deepen since she began vocational ministry in 2009. She cherished the truth of Philippians 2:13: it is God who works in her, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. LB lives in Dallas, Texas, and has her hand in all divisions of Shrinking Inc., primarily as the Israelux Director and Theology & Curriculum Director for D-Group International, but also helps with The Bible Recap.

ABBEY DANE
-
Abbey grew up in a home and in a church where knowing and having a relationship with Jesus was the priority. However, it wasn’t until her early 20s that the concept of having a personal relationship with Jesus became real in her life. As Scripture came alive to her, it began to shape how she desired to use the professional skills she had acquired in the marketing and communications fields. In 2014, she left the secular, non-profit realm to work in her church’s Media ministry and now serves with Shrinking, Inc. She resides in Memphis, TN, where she loves to spend time with her family (especially her nephews).
